Communications and Management

Hello everyone. As many of you already know, this newsletter is the communication bridge that will keep you informed of the most important things happening inside our organization. We want to build community and we want everyone who is part of the day to day to have an official place to find out what is going on. This road is built by every one of us: some from experience, some from commitment, some with willingness, patience and an appetite to keep learning.

The idea is to back the people who understand that continual improvement is not just a phrase repeated over and over, but a practice that has to guide us. That is our real commitment.

Beyond the tracks: leadership, vision and the future of the rail world

At the start of this month our general manager took part in a major international rail sector fair held in Lima, Peru, a gathering that brought together leading figures from across the region to share experiences, challenges and new perspectives for an industry in constant evolution.

In a setting of high technical and strategic level, his contribution stood out for a solid, inspiring presentation aimed at mapping the next challenges of our sector. With a view that combined operational experience, analytical thinking and the ability to project forward, he put forward a proposal that drew wide interest from the audience: a new way of understanding rail management through predictive analysis and an integrated view of Confiabilidad 360°.

More than a methodology, the argument opened a conversation about the role of organizations able to evolve from old reactive models towards intelligent, connected ecosystems, prepared to anticipate change rather than merely respond to it.

The reception confirmed something that has been building for a while: the ideas that come out of our organization have managed to reach a genuine audience and to have a regional impact.

That recognition translated into new opportunities for expansion and development in different South American markets, along with new international invitations to keep sharing this vision, including an upcoming appearance in Argentina in September.

Every new occasion strengthens a purpose that defines us: to keep driving a rail industry that is more reliable, more intelligent and better prepared for the future, generating new projects and new paradigms within the field.

Because progress does not belong to those who wait for the next destination. It belongs to those who dare to design the next tracks.

Copa Truck Energy 2026

Football fans, listen up!

This year we are launching the Copa Truck Energy 2026, an initiative created to bring us together, compete in good spirit, talk a bit of football and find out who has the best instinct for the game.

The format is simple: each participant makes their predictions for the 2026 World Cup and starts a parallel race of points, rankings, challenges between areas and a few surprises we will reveal along the way. Best of all: Truck Energy will double the prize pot, so every decision carries even more weight and excitement.

Because, just as in our daily work, anticipating is worth more than reacting. We will be sharing more details soon in the morning briefings. For now, just one question: if the future were already leaving clues, would you be able to read them?

Joint Training Committee

The first official meeting of the Comité Bipartito, the joint employer and worker training committee, took place with Carola Mena, Christian Mena San Juan, Felipe Alarcón M., Miguel Ángel Carrasco, Yosefine Bizama and Luis Sevilla. They decided to run a needs survey across all company staff, with the aim of gathering relevant information for the strategic development of training through to the end of the calendar year. These will of course be announced in advance, framed within the annual investment plan and focused on the all-round development of our people's capabilities.

Training for June:

  • Thursday the 25th: risk prevention training for the CPHS, the joint health and safety committee, delivered by Mutual de Seguridad.
  • Tuesday the 30th: full ISO 9001 awareness session, delivered by the processes and continual improvement analyst.

Everyone who belongs to the Wellbeing Department is informed that the outstanding bonuses have been paid, with amounts according to length of service: the December bonus, the birthday bonus and the Workers' Day bonus. Other news

Maintenance informs all staff that, for operational reasons, the scrap steel skip has been moved behind Andrés Ayala's shed, where it will now stay indefinitely.

On Thursday 11 June the official 2026 internal audit took place and was successfully passed by the people responsible for our management system. It also serves as preparation for the general external audit on 15 July. Congratulations to everyone on the work done, and let us keep refining our organizational structure.

Proud to be railroaders
