The mid-morning break is back and Truck Energy presents at Latinrieles

Hello everyone. As many of you already know, this newsletter is the communication bridge that will keep you informed of the most important things happening inside our organization. We want to build community and we want everyone who is part of the day to day to have an official place to find out what is going on. This road is built with every one of you, who from your own role contribute experience, commitment and the will to do things well.

The idea is to back the people who understand that continual improvement is not just a phrase repeated over and over, but a practice that has to guide us. That is our real commitment.

We want to let you know that we have decided to bring back the mid-morning break, in an orderly and responsible way, with our teams' wellbeing in mind and to help cope with the low temperatures we are facing right now. The measure comes into effect this week, coordinated with each team's leaders.

Each break will last 15 actual minutes, with an immediate return to work once the corresponding shift ends. Let us look after this benefit.

At the start of this month a small delegation from our company made up of Christian Mena (general manager), Nehuel Mena (commercial manager), Luis Ormeño (technical manager) and Nicolás Meriño (reliability manager) travelled to the north of the country to take part in a major rail industry congress.

In a space that brought together the main players of our ecosystem, both national and international, our delegation did not just show up, it left a mark. One of the most significant moments of the event was our general manager's presentation, which stood out for its clarity, conviction and conceptual depth. His contribution did not go unnoticed: it managed to establish a different view, a new paradigm around how we understand maintenance, reliability and the role of companies in today's rail industry.

It was a presentation that showed not only what we do, but how we think. And in a setting of that importance, Truck Energy positioned itself strongly, standing out among significant players in the sector and reaffirming its identity as a company that does not follow trends but helps create them.

Beyond the conversations, the connections made and the opportunities spotted, especially in markets such as Peru, Argentina and South America generally, what we experienced at Latinrieles 2026 left something even more valuable: the certainty that we are on the right track.

That we have the experience and the conviction to project ourselves regionally. That what we are building makes sense. And that when we talk about the future, we do so not only from intention but above all from action.

Taking part in events like this not only strengthens our presence in the industry, showing that we keep moving forward with purpose, identity and conviction; it also reinforces something essential: the pride of being part of this great project called Truck Energy.

This past week the official vote was held among workers from the different areas of our company, to democratically elect the new Comité Bipartito de Capacitaciones, the joint employer and worker training committee, whose main job will be to coordinate, gather and organize the various initiatives aimed at improving the skills and knowledge of everyone in our organization.

From Friday 22 May the whole area between the various sheds will be concreted, so both pedestrian and machinery access will be temporarily closed. A minimum of 5 to 10 days.
