The Asociación Chilena de Mantenimiento y Confiabilidad Operacional (ACHIMAN), Chile's association for maintenance and operational reliability, welcomed Christian Mena San Juan, founder and general manager of Truck Energy, as a new member. The association announced it on LinkedIn on 30 October.

In its announcement, the association introduced him as an electrical engineer and industrial engineer, IEEE member, with more than 25 years of experience in industrial maintenance and the reliability of critical assets. It also highlighted that he created the Confiabilidad 360° approach and is an international speaker, specialized in railway reliability and in building technical capabilities for industry.

“We are glad to add his experience to our community and to keep sharing knowledge to strengthen maintenance and operational reliability,” ACHIMAN wrote in its welcome.

ACHIMAN's mission is to promote the development of maintenance and operational reliability in Chilean industry, fostering good practice, continuing education, collaboration between professionals and ties with the productive sector. It has offices in Santiago, Concepción and Antofagasta and, by its own figures, more than 120 active members and more than 700 professionals trained. Its courses and diploma programs range from vibration analysis and non-destructive testing to root cause analysis.

For Confiabilidad 360°, joining opens a conversation wider than the railway one. This year the approach was presented at railway congresses, along the 2026 path, which went through Antofagasta, Lima and Puerto Iguazú, continues in Medellín and ends in Palenque, Mexico. ACHIMAN, by contrast, looks at maintenance across Chilean industry in general, and that is where the other part of Truck Energy's work lies: besides railways, the company services rotating equipment for mining, ports and industry.

According to the association, membership means joining a national network of professionals in the field, with access to its technical seminars, webinars and technical material, and the chance to take part as an instructor or speaker in its activities. Sharing knowledge, as the welcome puts it, is also the idea behind La Biblioteca, Truck Energy's library, where the company publishes its procedures in Spanish so that what is learned in one workshop does not stay in that workshop.
